Cookie goes to her forever family

Cookie was the last of the pups to go home. What a doll! Her family was so happy to meet her. .... her new name is Trixie.  We will miss her and this whole litter♡

Puppies go to their forever families

It's unbelievable how fast our little babies grew up and were ready to leave. So bitter sweet.....
We have loved having their sweetness bless our lives.

This was a particularly precious litter.... each one so gentle and sweet.
Maybe because Luck is their mother,  and is nothing but a sweet little bit of sugar.  Not a disagreeable bone in her body. All love,  all smiles,  all the time.
Maybe because they were an "accident"..... at first we dreaded the thought of an unplanned litter,  until the second they were born and we realized their preciousness. ..... they were no accident♡
May they continue to share love and joy and happiness...soothe hearts, bring smiles. They have brought so much love to us. We have loved meeting the new families. ... part of our extended Coton family now.

Pups 9 weeks old

It's hard to believe our time with our little darlings is drawing to a close. The only thing that makes it better is knowing how much love and joy and happiness they will bring to their new families and the world in general, and knowing how much love and happiness they have brought to us. I get emails all the time saying how much joy our pups have brought to their new families, and how they can't imagine how they lived without them.

Maya will be going to San Diego.
Lulu will be going to Alaska.
Cookie will be going to Burlingame,  CA.
Mudge will be going to Mill Valley,  CA.

Here the pups are in their pen after a big morning of playing outside with the big dogs. You can see their little muddy feet!

Vet Visit

I always think of the Arlo Guthrie song Alice's Restaurant when I take the pups for their vet exam, as they are poked and prodded and injected and inspected.....

As Arlo says in the song:

You get injected, inspected, detected, infected,

neglected and selected. I went down to get my physical

examination one

day,

They was

inspecting, injecting every single part of me, and they was

leaving no

part untouched.

We are all healthy and perfect!!!

Where has the time gone????
They are developing into their own little beings now,  full of fun and personality.  They mostly do not want to be cooped up in the pen, wanting to be with all of us and the other dogs. .. they are either following us around,  in our arms,  or playing outside. We are starting to process that our little ones will be leaving us soon.... they are SUCH blessings!!!!
